Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy, impulsive buying, and lifestyle on the financial behavior of students who use PayLater services at the Management Study Program of the Institut Bisnis dan Teknologi Kalimantan. Financial behavior plays an important role in determining how individuals manage their income, spending, and financial decisions, especially in the era of digital financial services such as PayLater, which offers convenience but may also increase the risk of uncontrolled spending. This research employed a quantitative approach. The population consisted of Management students at Institut Bisnis dan Teknologi Kalimantan who use PayLater services. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, resulting in 60 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed online using Google Forms. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. The results show that partially, financial literacy, impulsive buying, and lifestyle have a positive and significant effect on the financial behavior of students who use PayLater services. Simultaneously, financial literacy, impulsive buying, and lifestyle also have a significant effect on students' financial behavior. These findings indicate that financial knowledge, consumption tendencies, and lifestyle patterns play an important role in shaping students' financial behavior. This study is expected to provide insights for students to improve financial literacy, control impulsive buying behavior, and manage their lifestyle more wisely in order to maintain responsible financial behavior when using digital financial services such as PayLater.
